Charlotte Hunter has nearly a decade of experience in esthetics and an unusually deep understanding of skin health and skincare. She's been privately trained in upstate New York, is ZO Expert certified, and approaches skin with a long-term mindset: understand what's actually causing the concern, improve the health and function of the skin, and build from there.

Before you book
We apply topical numbing for approximately 20 minutes before beginning. Most patients find the treatment very tolerable and describe feeling pressure or vibration more than pain.
Most patients have redness and sensitivity for a day or two following treatment. Your skin may feel warm or tight initially, and you'll receive specific aftercare instructions before you leave.
That depends on what we're treating. A single session can be a great skin refresh, while concerns like texture, acne scarring and firmness typically benefit from a series. Collagen remodeling continues for roughly 4–6 weeks after each treatment, so a properly spaced series allows those changes to build over time.
PRP and PRF use growth factors obtained from your own blood, which means a blood draw is required and the resulting concentration can vary from patient to patient.
Ariessence Pure PDGF+ uses recombinant PDGF-BB manufactured to be sterile and consistent from treatment to treatment. It requires no blood draw and provides a known, concentrated source of PDGF immediately after microneedling.
We prefer it because we know exactly what we're applying to the skin every time.
Both treatments use the same microneedling technique. The difference is what we apply afterward.
ZO Firming Serum is a strong option for traditional microneedling focused on texture and maintenance. PDGF+ adds a recombinant growth factor involved in the body's natural repair response, making it our preferred option when we're trying to get the most out of the treatment.
Microneedling isn't appropriate for everyone or every skin condition. Charlotte will review your skin, health history and any relevant medications before treatment to make sure it can be performed safely.
ariessence pure PDGF+ is a topical cosmetic product used following microneedling. References to FDA-approved applications of PDGF refer to separate medical products for bone and tissue repair, not to ariessence itself. Individual results vary.
