What is Moxi? Gentle “Prejuvenation” with Minimal Downtime

Moxi® is a non-ablative laser treatment designed for patients who want a subtle skin refresh or preventative care against early signs of aging. Known as a “lunchtime treatment,” Moxi takes about 30 minutes and requires little to no downtime, making it ideal for busy schedules.

Moxi helps improve:

- Early sun damage
- Uneven tone and texture
- Fine lines
- Preventative skin maintenance (“prejuvenation”)

The treatment experience: You’ll feel a mild warming or prickling sensation as the laser gently resurfaces your skin. After treatment, your skin may appear pink and feel slightly rough for a few days, but recovery is quick and comfortable.

What is BBL? Correcting Sun Damage, Redness, and Uneven Skin Tone

BBL® (BroadBand Light) is one of the most powerful light-based therapies available for targeting pigmentation and redness at their source. Unlike other resurfacing treatments, BBL penetrates deep into the skin to restore clarity, tone, and overall complexion.

BBL helps improve:

- Sun damage and age spots
- Redness and rosacea
- Vascular lesions
- Uneven pigmentation and discoloration

The treatment experience: During a 20–30 minute session, patients often describe the sensation as quick, warm flashes of light. Mild redness or darkening of spots may occur temporarily as the skin begins its renewal process.

Downtime

Although often described as “minimal downtime” or a “lunchtime treatment,” actual recovery can vary. Depending on your skin concerns and treatment intensity, you may experience several days of redness, swelling, or rough texture. This enhanced intensity can deliver better results in less time and at a lower overall cost compared to multiple lighter treatments.

Pricing & Packages

Treatment pricing is determined during your consultation to ensure a plan that meets your needs.

  • Treatments start at $850 per session
  • Series and maintenance packages are available and will be discussed during your consultation

Moxi vs. BBL: Which is Right for You?

While both treatments deliver impressive results, they are designed for different needs:

  • Moxi is ideal for younger patients or those looking for a gentle refresh, skin maintenance, or early intervention against aging. It works well on all skin types and requires minimal
  • BBL is best suited for patients with visible sun damage, redness, or pigmentation concerns. It is particularly effective on lighter skin tones.

For many patients, combining Moxi and BBL creates a comprehensive approach—addressing both preventative care and existing skin concerns for optimal results.

Results Timeline & Maintenance

  • After one treatment: Brighter skin, improved clarity, and more even tone.
  • After a series of treatments: Noticeable reduction in pigmentation, redness, and fine lines.
