June Around Park!

June was full of summer adventures, celebrations, and a few well-earned getaways. Here's what the Park team has been up to outside the clinic!

Amber had an eventful month, and not entirely in the fun way. She slipped a disc in her back, which makes two Park newsletters this year featuring an x-ray, and we would like it to be the last. (Park girls: we love you, please stop injuring yourselves.) The much better news: she headed to Atlanta for laser school and is now officially a certified laser technician. Amber is already our sonographer, and this fall she'll be transitioning into laser treatments as Keyana takes on more Botox patients. More on all of that soon!

Charlotte kicked off summer with a night of laughs seeing comedian Stavros at Victory North, spent an afternoon at Dog Days Fest at Starland Yard, and checked Marbled & Fin off her Savannah dinner list!

Cristal made the most of the warm weather with relaxing days out on the boat and quality time with family on the water.

Ella and her family headed to New York for a summer getaway, exploring the city and making memories together.

Erin welcomed a new flock of baby chickens and turkeys to the farm, picked up pickleball with the family, and has been fully embracing homestead life this summer. That includes her trick for getting through a mountain of corn: a miter saw. She swears it's the fastest way to cut the ends off a big batch before scraping the milk and pulp from the cobs. Don't knock it till you try it. Her Southern cream corn recipe is below, straight from the Park kitchen files.

Erin's Southern Cream Corn

What you'll need:

• 8 ears of corn, husked
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 2 tablespoons bacon grease
• 1 tablespoon butter

How Erin makes it:

1. Cut the kernels off each cob into a large bowl, then run the back of your knife down the cob to press out the milky liquid. That's where all the flavor lives, so don't skip it.
2. Whisk the sugar, flour, and a good pinch of salt and pepper together, then stir the mixture into the corn along with the cream and water.
3. Melt the bacon grease in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the corn, drop the heat to medium-low, and stir until thick and creamy, about 30 minutes.
4. Stir in the butter right before serving.

Hailey celebrated her 25th birthday with dinner at Veratina, surrounded by friends and family.

Keyana spent the month celebrating two exciting additions, attending baby showers for her friends Casey and Chelsea.

Brooke A soaked up some time in Naples, Florida, where she'll be heading this fall to begin an exciting new chapter in school.

Jennah has been spending her free time baking fresh sourdough, caring for her animals, and babysitting. A pretty perfect summer, if you ask us.

Lillie took advantage of sunny coastal weekends with a visit to Bubba Gumbo's on Tybee Island.

Molly cheered on the Braves before heading to Miami to celebrate a friend's bachelorette weekend.

Brooke T escaped to Cancun with her boyfriend, Mason, trading clinic life for turquoise water and a few days of completely unplugging before a busy summer at Park.

Ragan spent time exploring the French Riviera with her husband and in-laws, taking in beautiful coastal towns, incredible food, and views she's still not over.

👀 Around the Clinic

We've been busy behind the scenes testing something new! Our providers recently had the chance to demo a new treatment device we're genuinely excited about. Since results develop gradually over 6 to 12 weeks, we're officially in the waiting phase: documenting our progress, collecting before and afters, and keeping a close eye on the results. If it performs the way we're hoping, it may be making its way to Park in the future. Stay tuned!

Park Moment of the Month

June's MVP award goes to one very determined patient.

She showed up for her facial with Charlotte after falling down the stairs on her way to her appointment, using a Swiffer mop as a makeshift cane, because she was not about to miss her facial. Naturally, we all told her she needed to get that foot checked out. She insisted on the facial first. 😂

After her appointment, she finally headed to the doctor, where they discovered her foot was fractured in five places.

We absolutely do not recommend following her example. But we have to admit, that's commitment.
